Founded in 1983 by Robert Holmes, Pizza Blends initially entered the pizza market to develop a cost effective method of preparing a “one-step” pizza crust for the pizza restaurants. This method eliminated the guess work out of whether or not the proper amount of ingredients were added each time the dough was prepared. 

Pizza Blends was the pioneer in the industry of the “pre-mix” concept currently used with foodservice worldwide. Since the inception of the “pre-mix” concept, Pizza Blends has built or acquired a total of five facilities to produce product for its customers. These facilities have been strategically located throughout the United States to minimize distribution costs. We take pride in understanding and satisfying the ever changing needs of our customers.
